May 08, 2026

In a vibrant ceremony held here at the UNI International-China Pakistan Deep Love Cultural Exploration Center, dignitaries and guests gathered to commemorate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan, two all-weather strategic partners.

The event, organized jointly by the China State Construction Engineering Corp. (CSCEC) Pakistan Branch, UNI International, and the All Pakistan China Friendship Association, provided a platform to reflect on decades of diplomatic achievements, foster cultural understanding, and reaffirm the enduring friendship between the two nations.

According to a Gwadar Pro's report, on the occasion, Chief Guest former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf shared moving diplomatic stories regarding the evolution of China-Pakistan friendship, recalling historical moments of mutual support and solidarity.

He spoke of how the relationship had weathered regional and global changes, emerging stronger with each passing decade, and urged the younger generation to carry forward this legacy of trust and cooperation.

A core segment of the event focused on the tangible successes of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and broader infrastructure development under bilateral cooperation.

The CSCEC Pakistan team highlighted several landmark projects completed over the past two decades that have transformed Pakistan’s infrastructure landscape.

These included the PKM Motorway (Sukkur-Multan section), the Islamabad International Airport and the Centaurus project.

Adding a cultural dimension to the proceedings, thirty teachers and students from the Apex Education System participated in an immersive experience of Chinese intangible cultural heritage—traditional paper cutting.

Led by Principal Fahad Ahmed Khan, the group learned the delicate art under the expert guidance of Madam Xi Hui from UNI International.

With meticulous precision, the students wielded scissors to create intricate designs symbolizing friendship, peace and shared prosperity.

The session also included a demonstration of Chinese calligraphy, further enriching the cultural exchange.

The event culminated in an unveiling ceremony for a Chinese calligraphy plaque inscribed with the words “Long Live China-Pakistan Friendship” in bold traditional script.

Additionally, a cake-cutting ceremony was held, featuring a cake adorned with the flags of both nations and the number “75” to mark the anniversary.
