LAHORE, Sep 15 (INP): A unique blend of cultural hues was unveiled as the China-Pakistan Cultural and Art Exchange Summit, along with a Chinese Painting Art Exhibition, graced the city of Lahore, Gwadar Pro reported. It was arranged amidst the festive atmosphere of celebrating both the Mid-Autumn Festival and the upcoming National Day of China The event, held at the Shandong Yulong Hotel, brought together artists from both nations to showcase their talents and foster deeper cultural ties between China and Pakistan.
The exhibition, organized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People’s Government and Shandong Overseas Chinese Association, with the collaboration of the Shandong Chamber of Commerce in Pakistan, attracted a distinguished gathering of guests. They included Deputy Consul General Cao Ke from the Chinese Consulate General in Lahore, and Lt. Gen. Muhammad Afzal, former Engineer-in-Chief of the Pakistan Army, Director-General of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO), and Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
Over 80 guests, including members of the Chinese community in Lahore, representatives from local chambers of commerce, and business leaders attended the event. The gathering provided a unique opportunity for people from diverse backgrounds to come together, appreciate the beauty of art and deepen their understanding of the cultural ties between China and Pakistan.
