The Sri Ram Sene, a right-wing Hindutva group, is under police investigation after videos of a five-day arms training camp held in Karnataka’s Bagalkot district surfaced on social media. The event, conducted between December 25 and 29 in Todalbagi village, reportedly included gun training on its final day. Bagalkot Superintendent of Police Amarnath Reddy confirmed the inquiry, stating, “We are examining the type of arms used—whether firearms or airguns. Appropriate action will follow if any illegal activity is detected.” The Sri Ram Sene previously announced plans for “physical training” camps, but this latest event has sparked concerns over its true intentions.
