Three persons feared drowned in IIOJKBreaking

Three persons are feared to have drowned in two separate rivers in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.According to Kashmir Media Service, two men are feared to have drowned in the Chenab River while bathing on Sunday in Jammu, officials said. The missing persons have been identified as Rakesh Singh, 35, and Gajay Singh, 30, both residents of Khour.The two friends had gone to the Chenab for a bath near Hamirpur and reportedly drowned in the river, the officials said.

A 16-year-old boy also drowned in the Lidder River in the Chee area of south Kashmir’s Islamabad district. The incident occurred at Dar Mohalla in Chee, where the boy, identified as Barik Bilal Sofi, drowned in the river. His body was recovered and handed over to the family.In another incident, a 55-year-old outsider, Bharat Kaper, a resident of Samastipur, Bihar, was killed after being hit by a vehicle reportedly part of the cavalcade of Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary in Gangyal, on the outskirts of Jammu.

Meanwhile, at least 28 women were injured when a mini-bus carrying participants of a Tiranga Yatra overturned on a flyover near the Super Speciality Hospital in Jammu. The injured, aged between 18 and 25, were returning after taking part in the Tiranga Yatra from Bahu Fort to Mubarak Mandi when the accident occurred. They were shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for treatment.
