Thousands of fish have been found dead in a stream near Barbar Shah area of Srinagar in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). According to Kashmir Media Service, the fish were found dead in the stream named Tsoonth Koul (Apple stream). Local residents have expressed deep concern over the incident, emphasizing its potential impact on both the ecological balance and the livelihoods of those dependent on fishing. “This is not just about the death of fish; it’s about the entire ecological balance and our means of sustenance being threatened,” stated a local resident.
