In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a teenage girl committed suicide in Baramulla district. The 14-year-old girl hanged herself to death in Pattan area of the district. She was immediately rushed to a nearby trauma hospital in Pattan where doctors declared her dead on arrival. Police have taken cognisance of the matter and registered a case.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau trapped police constable Mohammad Sultan in Jammu, when he was demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 8,000 from a person on release of his son, Sahil Mehra, in a false and frivolous case.
