The Indian forces’ personnel continued massive cordon and search operation (CASO) for the 25th consecutive day, today, in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.According to Kashmir Media Service, despite deploying thousands of troops, helicopters, drones, sniffer dogs, para commandos and the so-called Village Defence Guards since May 23, the Indian Army and paramilitary forces have failed to achieve any significant breakthrough even after over three weeks of relentless military action in the Dori Maal forest area of Gambhir Mughalan in the district.
The forces have further intensified the operation by tightening the cordon around the forest zone and expanding extensive search operations across the area, turning it into a virtual war zone.Repeated door-to-door searches and heavy troop movement have completely disrupted normal life, leaving local residents in a state of constant fear, uncertainty and hardship. The prolonged military operation once again exposes the limitations of India’s much-publicized anti-resistance campaign and its increasing reliance on brute force to suppress the legitimate aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
