A group of youth staged a peaceful protest on the main road in Rajouri, alleging misbehaviour with patients at Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri.  According to Kashmir Media Service, the protesters demanded strict action against the concerned officials, expressing concern over the reported incident and urging better patient care and accountability in the hospital. 

The protesters on the occasion also raised slogans against the occupation regime for being indifferent to the sufferings of the masses, while being interested only in harassing them through frequent raids and search operations on one pretext or another. Responding to the allegations, GMC Rajouri Principal Dr A S Bhatia stated that an enquiry will be conducted into the matter and appropriate action will be taken against the concerned officials if found guilty.
