In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a massive protest was held against the killing of two locals outside the Indian army camp in Rajouri district. The two locals, identified as Kamal Kumar and Surinder Kumar with bullet marks, were killed by the Indian troops outside the Indian army camp along Poonch-Rajouri highway of the district on Friday morning. “I was travelling in my vehicle and heard several shots of bullets at the Indian army camp.
I left behind my vehicle and ran towards the camp. Later, I came to know that two locals have been killed,” an eyewitness truck driver said. The victims, who were reportedly working as porters with the Indian Army, were approaching the Alpha Gate of an Army camp when they were fired upon by the troops, Indian police officials said.
The protesters, demanding probe into the incident, blocked the highway and halted the traffic on the road. Eye witnesses said empty cartridges have been found outside the Indian Army’s Alpha Gate. The situation in the area is tense and the agitated people pelted stones at the Indian army camp.
