The police in Indian state of Jharkand’s Deoghar area claimed to have arrested two persons in connection with rape of a minor girl. Five persons have been nominated in the FIR lodged with Deoghar Police by family of the victim. In the FIR, the mother of the victim filed the police complaint she said that she along with her daughter were returning home from a function in Deoghar when they were attacked by a group of five men in Madhupur area. According to the complaint, five people on two motorcycles intercepted the mother and daughter duo, and then dragged the daughter aside by force. “When I tried to stop them, they beat me up and my daughter was then raped in front of me,” the complaint stated. Police have registered the case and made headway to the criminals arresting two of them.
