In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference has passed a resolution extending condolences and sympathies to the people of Iran over the martyrdom of their Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, in a US-Israel attack. 

According to Kashmir Media Service, NC General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar chaired a condolence meeting at the party headquarters in Srinagar, where party functionaries offered tributes to the late Iranian leader and recited Fatiha for all victims of the attack, including schoolgirls who lost their lives.  

A resolution expressing grief and solidarity with Iran was presented by the party leader  Showkat Ahmad Mir and unanimously endorsed by participants. The party leaders extended heartfelt sympathies to the Iranian nation and prayed for strength and protection for the bereaved families.

 The meeting was attended by several senior leaders Meanwhile, solemn mourning gatherings were organised across the Kashmir Valley, where people held Quran Khawani for martyred Ayatollah Khamenei.
