Senior APHC leader and Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s chief cleric and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, paid a visit to the  revered Dargah of Hazrat Nizam-ud-Din Auliya in New Delhi, where he offered Fatiha (prayers) at the shrine of the great Sufi saint.  According to Kashmir Media Service, the Mirwaiz was warmly received by the Sajada Nasheen and caretaker of the Dargah, Syed Anis Nizami, and others, who extended their hospitality and expressed their respect for the spiritual leader. 

Later, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq met the Ameer of the Tableeghi Jamaat, Moulana Saad Syed Kandhlavi, at the Markaz in Bangla Wali Masjid. During the meeting, he praised the Tableeghi Jamaat for their unwavering efforts in promoting dawah (Islamic outreach) and islah (reformation) within the Muslim community.  The discussions focused on their shared vision of fostering spirituality and strengthening faith among Muslims through peaceful propagation of Islamic teachings. Both leaders emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in addressing the challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah.
