Israel continues to bomb innocent Palestinians in Gaza, since October 7, the total number of martyrs has exceeded 35,000. According to media reports, the news agency said that Israeli airstrikes shelled parts of northern, central and southern Gaza overnight and into Sunday morning. The Israeli military said jets hit more than 150 Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip yesterday. The Kuwaiti hospital in Rafah stated on Sunday that it received the bodies of 18 martyrs killed in the past 24 hours. The Ministry of Health of Gaza added that at least 63 people were martyred during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of martyrs to 35,034 in Gaza, including mostly women and children. The number of injured in the Israeli attacks has reached 78,755, in addition, due to the Israeli bombardment on the eastern part of Rafah, around 300,000 refugees have already moved from the area. Meanwhile, according to the news agency, after more than seven months of devastation in the war, the head of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, appealed for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, the unconditional release of all hostages, and an increase in humanitarian aid.
Antonio Guterres was addressing the donors' conference on Gaza in Kuwait, in which the participating countries demanded two billion dollars for the rehabilitation of the devastated Gaza Strip. The UN chief said the ceasefire would be the beginning of a long road to recovery from the devastation and trauma of the war. Meanwhile, efforts to mediate a ceasefire between Egypt, Qatar, and the US appear to be at a standstill, with US President Joe Biden saying on Saturday that A ceasefire could happen immediately if Hamas releases hostages taken in the October 7 attack. Hamas described Biden's statement as a major blow to the negotiations, saying that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tried his best to thwart the negotiations by launching an offensive in Rafah. On the other hand, Israel says that its effort is to keep civilian casualties to a minimum. Apart from this, after Turkey, Egypt has also announced to be a party against Israel in the case of genocide of Palestinians in Gaza against Israel in the Hague-based International Court of Justice.
