The much-anticipated iPhone 16 has officially arrived in the UAE, drawing crowds of Apple enthusiasts eager to get their hands on the latest device. As is customary for iPhone launch days, many fans camped out overnight outside Apple stores, creating long queues that extended through shopping malls. This year, Apple has implemented new measures to manage the excitement, including a requirement for online reservations and set pickup times. Customers are limited to purchasing two devices per Apple ID. Despite these precautions, security remains tight, with barricades and extensive planning to handle the expected crowds. Among the first in line was Sayed Fawaz, who arrived at Dubai Mall with his family to purchase the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Fawaz, a loyal Apple customer, expressed his eagerness for the new AI features. Other customers, like Hilal Raza, shared similar sentiments, having pre-ordered their devices well in advance. However, not all fans were aware of the new reservation rules. Many arrived at malls without prior bookings, only to be turned away. Saeed Ibrahim, who had come early to buy an iPhone, was among those caught off guard by the changes. As the day unfolds, Apple stores across the UAE are buzzing with activity, capturing the blend of excitement, anticipation, and a few frustrations from eager customers.
