All Parties Hurriyat Conference leadership and parties have said that India’s unilateral and illegal actions of 5th August 2019 in occupied Jammu and Kashmir have further aggravated the already volatile situation in South Asia. According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC leaders and parties, including Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party and Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League in their statements in Srinagar said RSS-backed BJP’s highly corrupt and communal LG Manoj Sinha regime is misleading world by falsely propagating that peace is returning to IIOJK after the revocation of Kashmir’s special status.

Instead, the leaders, including Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, advocate Arshad Iqbal, Advocate Haseeb Wani, Maulana Musaib Nadvi, Shakeel ur Rehman and Ms Hafza Bano said India has intensified its efforts to brutalize Kashmiris and colonize Kashmir since 5th August 2019. They, however, maintained that Kashmiris’ passion for freedom cannot be conquered by Indian militaristic approach in IIOJK and reiterated the resolve to take the freedom struggle to its logical end, against all odds. The people of Jammu and Kashmir appealed to the Secretary General of the United Nations, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Amnesty International and other international humanitarian organizations to intervene and save the Kashmiris from extinction, the leaders said.
