Indian forces launched massive cordon and search operations in Doda and Poonch districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, personnel of the Indian Army and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) launched a major operation in the Bhaderwah area of Doda district. The Indian forces claimed that local informers had captured the group on camera and alerted the forces about its presence in the Bhaderwah area.
Another cordon and search operation was launched by Indian forces in the Mendhar area of Poonch district. According to officials, an Indian forces security guard on duty at a construction site noticed suspicious movement and fired three to four rounds near a tunnel under construction. No loss of life or damage to property has been reported so far, officials said. The operations were continuing until the last reports came in.
