An Indian army man was killed during a clash in Udhampur district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, the army man was killed in an attack during a cordon and search operation in the Dudu-Basantgarg area of the district.

An Indian official told media men that army forces had launched a cordon and search operation in the area. He said that the forces opened fire, which was retaliated to, triggering an encounter.“Exchange of fire is going on, while further details will be shared accordingly,” the official said.  Four residential houses gutted in Srinagar fire incident
