Indian army killed three Naxal guerillas including a woman in Indian state of
Madhya Pradesh.
The 23-year old woman Rame, divisional committee member Nagesh aka Raju Tulavi (40) and area
commander Manoj (25) were killed by Indian army and paramilitary personnel in an ambush in Bahela
area of Balaghat district, police said.
This is for the first time when a divisional committee level member of Naxals was killed in Madhya
Pradesh, the police added.
The slain divisional committee member Raju Tulavi (40) was a resident of Batejhari in the Gadhchiroli
district of Indian state Maharashtra while Manoj (25) and Rame (23) were residents of Chhattisgarh
state.
In Madhya Pradesh, three districts- Balaghat, Mandla and Dindori- are considered Naxal-affected areas.
The Naxalite movement is growing more and more popular in India which has alreadyengulfed 13 statesand is spreading to other states demanding independence from Indian yoke.
