Indian aircraft crashes near Baramati airstrip in MaharashtraBreaking

An Indian aircraft operated by a private company crashed near the Baramati airstrip in Maharashtra’s Pune district on Sunday. No casualties were reported.According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred at around 12:30 pm. The trainee pilot escaped without any serious injuries.Police said they are investigating whether the aircraft developed a technical snag. Villagers and emergency responders reached the crash site immediately after the incident.

“It is too early to comment on anything,” a senior police official said.The crash comes months after a Learjet 45 aircraft crashed in Baramati, which claimed the lives of then Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, his two aides and two crew members. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has been holding seminars and taking measures to enhance aviation safety across the country.
