A Hindu mob broke into premises of a historic Masjid-e-Qutub Shahi, in the Raidugram area of Hyderbad in Indian state of Telangana to perform puja that has triggered communal tensions in the area. Babri repeats in the South India! In Hyderabad, a Hindu right wing crowd forcibly entered Qutub Shahi mosque area and has installed an idol. A group of around 150 Hindu broke through the security wall to perform religious rituals disturbing the peace in the area. The police in Hyderabad registered an FIR against unknown people. Meanwhile, Muslims of the area have protested against the act that has hurt their sentiments.
Talking about the incident, India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MLA Kauser Mohiuddin said that they heard about the trespassing at the Masjid e Qutb Shahi and he reached the spot on instructions of AIMIM president Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi to inquire the matter. Leaders of the Congress party also visited the spot and spoke to Waqf Board officials and chairman Mohammad Masiullah Khan. Reacting to the incident, Prof. Ashok Swain described the intrusion as a “repeat of Babri”. “Babri repeats in South India! All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen President Asaduddin Owaisi met Rangareddy Collector to discuss the land row at Masjid-e-Qutb Shahi.
