Fahim Kayani, President of Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK and the All Parties International Kashmir Coordination Committee, has congratulated four UK Members of Parliament (MPs) on their appointment as Trade Envoys. According to Kashmir Media Service, the newly appointed MPs include Afzal Khan (Turkey), Mohammad Yasin (Pakistan), Yasmin Qureshi (Egypt), and Naz Shah (Indonesia and ASEAN). Their roles will involve strengthening trade ties, fostering business opportunities, and enhancing diplomatic relations.
Kayani welcomed the appointments, expressing hope that they would contribute to stronger bilateral ties between the UK and these nations. He wished them success in their efforts to expand the UK’s global trade network. It was also hoped that the newly appointed Trade Envoys would highlight the importance of resolving the Kashmir dispute, emphasizing that lasting peace and stability in the South Asian region are essential for fostering a conducive global trade and investment environment.
