15 people have died and millions have been affected by the floods in Bangladesh. According to Bangladeshi media, 11 districts of the country are currently facing the worst flood situation after heavy rains, which have affected 4.8 million people and 15 have been confirmed dead. According to the local media, around 0.9 million people are trapped in the flood situation while the 11 districts affected by the flood include Fani, Comilla, Nokhali, Lakshmipur and other districts. 92 percent of the mobile towers have fallen, which has almost ended the communication of citizens on mobile phones. The media reports suggest that officials of the meteorological department said that the flood situation is improving now, 188,000 people trapped in the flood areas have been rescued and brought to the camps, while 350 million takas cash have been distributed in the flood-affected areas so far. Apart from this, more than 20 tons of rice and 15,000 packets of dry food have also been distributed. Officials said that a rescue operation is underway in the flood-affected areas by the Army, in which the Navy, Coast Guard, Fire Services, Police, and Talab are also participating.

According to the details, Shehbaz Sharif has sent a letter to Chief Advisor of Bangladesh Dr M. Younis for help regarding the destruction caused by heavy rains in Dhaka. In the text of the letter, Shehbaz said that there is heartache and grief over the recent catastrophic flood situation in Bangladesh. The sympathies of the entire Pakistani nation are with the Bangladeshi government and people in this difficult time. He stated that in difficult times, they stand with Bangladesh and its citizens whose loved ones were lost in the floods, their homes and jobs were destroyed. Bangladeshi people are known for their bravery and courage in the face of adversity. The Prime Minister further said in his letter that he is hopeful that Bangladesh will come out of this difficulty soon under your leadership, he is ready to help Bangladesh in every way in this difficult time.
