USAID hands over solar system to KP revenue authority

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has been given 30 kilowatts of solar energy system to help it overcome power outages in its south region office. The system was handed over by USAID-funded Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Mobilisation Activity (KPRM) during a ceremony, according to WealthPK.

USAID-KPRM Chief of Party Temur Aziz handed over the system to KPRA Director Administration and Human Resource Aftab Ali Ghazi. The solar energy system would be installed at the KPRA’s regional office in Bannu. On the occasion, Aftab Ghazi thanked USAID-KPRM for assisting it in overcoming power outage issue at its south region office. “We needed the solar energy system for uninterrupted power supply.

The system will ensure uninterrupted functioning, greatly facilitating the taxpayers visiting the office,” he said. USAID-KPRM Chief of Party said they were committed to assisting KPRA in overcoming issues to facilitate the taxpayers. “KPRM has been working with the KPRA for taxpayers’ facilitation and tax acculturation in the province,” he added.
