The spokesperson said while talking to WealthPK that it is good news for TikTok users that in the current month of Oct 2022, the short-form video hosting app is going to open its office in Pakistan. He said that TikTok has already a correspondent in Pakistan and it is paying special attention to Pakistan’s digital market.

The spokesperson said that recently TikTok launched its Creator Portal in Pakistan, a one-stop shop for educational resources on content creation.

The portal, which can be accessed on the TikTok account @tiktokcreatorspakistan, is a series of videos that will provide guidance, tips and tricks to help creators maximize their in-app presence and take their videos to the next level.

It will help the creators dive deeper into modules such as storytelling, community building and creative effects aimed at inspiring and diversifying content creation on the platform.

According to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) annual report 2021, the short-video Chinese app grabbed 31.2 million users in Pakistan in 2021, despite a ban of three months from July to November 2021.
