(Islamabad (INP) ): Time flies. Now we are in June. The 1st day of June marks the International Children’s Day. We wish all the children in the world luck and happy. On June 3rd, it is an important traditional Chinese holiday--Dragon Boat Festival. As usual, we will introduce some story about this holiday. In June, there will be two traditional 24 Chinese solar terms: “Grain in Ear” and “Summer Solstice”. For this reason, China Cultural Center in Pakistan will continue to launch online events introducing these two solar terms. In addition, the center will launch an 8-episode documentary series reflecting China's intangible cultural heritage crafts filmed by Chinese post-80s and post-90s generation in China. The film takes the production of Chinese traditional handicrafts as the starting point, and takes 12 months and travels tens of thousands of kilometers to more than ten provinces and cities in China including Hangzhou and Longquan in Zhejiang, Suzhou in Jiangsu, Ningde and Fuzhou in Fujian, Zhengzhou in Henan, Shigatse, Lhasa and the Mount Everest in Xizang, Beijing, Shanghai and Antarctica...to truly record more than ten national intangible cultural heritage inheritors and family heirs.
