Police officers receive COVID-19 vaccination in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Police officers received the COVID-19 vaccine shots at a police hospital in Colombo, capital of Sri Lanka, on Sunday.

A vaccination program is underway in six major hospitals in Sri Lanka where 250,000 frontline workers will be vaccinated in the coming days.

This will include over 150,000 health workers, and 100,000 members of military, police and security forces who are at the frontline of COVID prevention operations.
