RIYADH, May 29 (INP): Saudi embassy in Philippines announced the resumption of sending Filipino workers to the Kingdom, a day after suspending the practice because of reports that Filipinos were being asked to pay for Covid-19 quarantine and insurance costs.
According to data compiled by Argaam, the Philippines halted the deployment of workers to Saudi Arabia after it received reports that employers were making them pay for COVID-19 testing, quarantine, and insurance upon arrival in the Kingdom.
