National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in collaboration with LearnObots will arrange a science and technology expo titled “Robotics and STEAM Weekend Camp” starting on December 4. The purpose of the camp will be to enlighten students on various trades in robotics and to help them chart a future in high-tech innovative products. Various domains of science, technology and artificial intelligence will be presented before the students to learn and understand.
They include Robotics, Coding, Electronics, Engineering, Game Development, Application Development, Computer Programming, 3D Modelling and Printing, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Creating Digital Art, Renewable Energy Resources, Home Inventions, Professional Development and Blogging. A session of the camp will be arranged every weekend at the university for kids aged between 8-14 years.
They will be presented with live demonstrations of various prototypes developed in the respective fields. Kids will then be able to find their own interest in these fields of technology-intensive products. It is pertinent to mention that LearnOBots is a private educational company housed in NUST. It gives training to students and young kids to pique their interest in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). It helps the students through trainings and technical support so that they can turn their ideas into reality through developing new products, finding solutions to common problems and building new models.
Since 2014, LearnOBots has been collaborating with progressive educators and parents to inculcate the spirit and style of STEAM learning in Pakistan’s classrooms. They aim to develop thinkers, inventors, and makers of tomorrow. Through experiential and playful learning, the company educates primary and secondary grade students in STEAM. The comprehensive curriculum and outcome-oriented learning methodologies being exercised by LearnObots help students unlock valuable 21st-century skills, both interdisciplinary and cognitive.
