Khushhali Bank provides educational support to deserving students

September 26, 2022

Khushhali Microfinance Bank Limited (KMBL)’s volunteers have provided new school bags, uniforms, and stationery items to hundreds of deserving students at two government-run schools in Haripur and Lalamusa to help them continue their education. The KMBL launched two separate initiatives at the Government Primary School, Dobandi Bala Town in Haripur and the Government Elementary School, Chak Dina Town in Lala Musa, said a press release received by WealthPK. The Founder and President of Khushhali Microfinance Bank Ghalib Nishtar said the inspiration behind the initiative was to enable the students to pursue education despite financial constraints. “So, we are fulfilling their academic requirements by providing educational accessories, tools and methodologies.”

He said KMBL is committed to improving academic facilities across underprivileged regions. “With better education, these students will be able to develop their communities for a progressive future,” he added. These KMBL’s initiatives would go a long way towards making a positive impact in the communities, where the bank is operating and planning to expand its operations, he said. The bank believes that education is the key to a bright future for a developing nation like Pakistan, Ghalib Nishtar said. It is not easy for students from underserved segments of society to pursue quality education, he added.

“Therefore, Khushhali Microfinance Bank has taken the responsibility to bridge this gap by assisting these students through its exemplary CSR Programme,” he said. KMBL, a leading financial institution in Pakistan, is introducing global standards of banking for the economic growth of the country. It also has a broad-based Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme to ensure the well-being of the wider community. The bank’s CSR Programme ‘Education for Khushhali’ is providing educational support to deserving students in numerous underprivileged regions, the press release said.
