Growing population, rising purchasing power and the evolving fashion trends are among the major factors driving innovation in the textile industry, said Muhammad Zeeshan Yusuf, Managing Director of Moti Fabric Pvt Ltd, while talking to WealthPK. ‘‘As we all know, in the current digital age, the demand for innovation is influencing many industries, particularly fashion and textile. Digital printing on fabric has emerged as a game changing technology. That’s why we have strategically diversified our business to become an advanced textile printing specialist,’’ he said. “Typical printing involves multiple technical steps, such as design, colour separation, and screen preparation. But when we use digital printing, these stages are greatly reduced. Digital printing enables speedy and exact colour transfer directly from screen to fabric, eliminating many of the time-consuming processes associated with the traditional methods. Once an appropriate printer or technology is in place, printing can begin almost immediately, offering a much faster and more flexible approach,” Zeeshan said.

“Digital printing greatly helps in efficiency and speeds up the process from design to the finished product. Our investment in digital printing technology has allowed us to meet the high standards of the fashion industry in both quality and delivery procedure,” he said. “Our company intends to increase the scope of its digital printing capabilities in future by installing more machines. I believe the textile industry will continue to grow along with the growth of digital printing,” he said. “Digital printing is set to revolutionize the textile industry by enabling rapid production and adoption of new trends, which are critical in today’s fast-paced marketplace. As we continue to invest in digital printing technology, we expect it will not only improve our operational efficiency but also offer new opportunities for innovation in textile design and production,” he added. The Moti Fabric managing director thinks the textile industry will continue to thrive as digital technology advances. There’s need for more investment in this sector for digitalization and introducing new techniques and machinery.
