Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications Syed Amin Ul Haque has stated that the government is exerting every effort to address the telecom industry's problems since the health of this sector is crucial to the stability of the country’s economy.

Speaking to the executives of various telecom businesses, he said, the government is fully aware of the departmental challenges experienced by the country's telecom industry and it is striving to address these concerns to stabilise investment in the IT and telecom sectors.

Jazz Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Aamir Ibrahim, Telenor CEO Irfan Wahab Khan and Hatem Bamatraf of Ufone briefed the minister on various topics pertaining to the telecom sector. They expressed their gratitude for his unwavering support for the telecom sector.
