Football exports surged by 62.22% during the first four months of the fiscal year 2022–23 compared to the same period the previous year. According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, footballs worth US$ 81,351,000 were exported between July 2022 and October 2022, compared to US$ 50,148,000 during the same period the previous year.

The exports of sports products climbed by 32.31% to US$ 139,185,000 against US$ 105,199,000 during the same period the previous year. In the meantime, other exports also climbed by 8.54%, reaching US$33,102,000 as opposed to US$30,499,000 during the same period the previous year. The exports of gloves climbed by 0.73% year on year to US$24,731,000 during the period under review.
