First Pakistani Coronavirus-infected student in stable condition

Islamabad, Feb. 1 (inp) - Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) said in a statement that the condition of coronavirus-infected Pakistani student Muhammad Asif is stable and his family is quite well, reports Gwadar Pro App.

"The doctors from HUST hospital went to his home and checked him this morning. After the check-up university said that compared with yesterday night, he looks a little better.

Currently, he is in a mild case, so doctors suggested that he should be kept in quarantine at home to avoid potential inter-infection.

In the meantime, he has been provided with professional measures with regard to how to quarantine" International students office mentioned in its statement.

The statement further said that "As for his wife and son, they went to HUST hospital to take blood tests and have a lung CT. Fortunately, the test results show that his wife and son are quite well.

According to the doctors, the reason that his wife said she had a feeling of chest tightness and asthma and before that she was too nervous. As for his son, he had a mild symptom of bronchitis, but not serious."

The university mentioned that it is well aware that many people are quite concerned about Dr. Asif who has been infected with the novel coronavirus.

The international student office of HUST requested those who have close contact with Dr. Asif to please keep a watchful eye on yourselves.
