Exports of electric fans from the country have increased significantly by a percentage of 32 in the second month of the ongoing fiscal year as compared to the same month of last fiscal year. In August 2022, the exports of electric fans increased to USD 5,843,000 as compared to the amount of USD 4,428,000 earned through their exports in the same month last year.
Similarly, the data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) showed that the exports of engineered goods saw an increase of 20.03% as compared to last year. In the same month of last fiscal year, their exports were USD 37,874,000 while in the same month they stood at USD 45,461,000. Also, the exports of transport equipment increased by 9.53%. Their exports recorded during the current fiscal year were USD 1,781,000 as compared to the exports during the same period of last year which were USD 1,626,000.
In the same month under review, the exports of electrical machinery increased by 41.23% worth USD 7,474,000 during the current fiscal year while the exports of the same were USD 5,292,000 during the same period of last year.
