MoUs signed with Chinese prestigious Universities to enhance cultural collaboration Breaking

BEIJING, Oct 13 (INP): The University of Sargodha (UoS) has taken significant steps to strengthen its international academic collaborations by signing two separate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with prestigious Chinese institutions. These agreements, signed with the Action Academy of Beijing Film and Television Research Institute and Tang International Education, mark a new chapter in UoS’s efforts to enhance educational, cultural, and technical ties with China, according to official statement released by the UoS.

Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, Vice Chancellor University of Sargodha signed both the agreements with Chinese officials during his visit to Beijing China, according to a report carried by Gwadar Pro on Sunday. In the first MoU, UoS partnered with the Action Academy of Beijing Film and Television Research Institute to collaborate on initiatives in film and media studies.  This agreement will facilitate joint research projects, training, and educational exchange programs, allowing participants to gain expertise in modern film and television production techniques, thus boosting the university's academic standing in media and creative arts.

The second agreement the UoG has signed with Tang International Education to introduce TCM and technical education programs.  This partnership emerged from a university delegation’s visit to China in July-August, aimed at solidifying academic ties.The collaboration will offer students specialized training in TCM and other technical fields, enriching their educational experience and fostering global knowledge exchange. The MoU focuses on introducing TCM and technical education programs at UoS, enhancing knowledge exchange, and promoting international educational cooperation. 

This collaboration is expected to benefit students by offering them access to specialized training and global educational opportunities. Earlier, Dr. Qaisar Abbas also visited the Agricultural Zhongguancun Science Park in the Pinggu District of Beijing, as part of efforts to strengthen agricultural innovation and collaboration. During the visit, Prof. Abbas signed an intent of cooperation to establish an agro-based company in Sargodha’s upcoming Agro-Based Economic Hub.

This agreement marks a significant step toward enhancing agricultural development in the region, with the goal of leveraging advanced technology and research from China to boost local agricultural industries in Sargodha.  The initiative is expected to contribute to economic growth and sustainable agricultural practices.
